Just saw Mr Rahane appeal against a lbw decision. Turns out, it was a no-ball on which he was declared out. As such, the appeal was upheld and Mr Rahane was declared not out.
My question is this: Did Mr Rahane get a life when the lbw decision was upturned?
What becomes
Of the buildings unfinished?
What happens to the hearts
That remain unloved?
What happens to that veiled world
Seen, yet unseen?
What souls wander that veiled world?
What becomes
Of the world without sheen?
Some pushed him without mercy,
And, got him onto his knees,
And, therefore by these gestures,
Got him into a position to pray.
All those who pushed him
Get counted twice,
When he counts his blessings now:
For pushing him
Into a prayer position;
And, for making him recall
The forgotten prayer.
The stars do not remember
What they had foretold earlier,
We need to go deep into the night,
To find the stars of yesteryears,
Closer to the big bang, perhaps.
Some stars have died since,
Some new stars have birthed since.
No star is taking responsibility
Of some of the untruths told earlier,
Of a hapless world,
Of a doomed world.
I received this Saturday gyan today:
A selfie is a lot like the mirror.
It tells me that me I'm right,
When I am left.
It tells me that I'm the foreground,
The background is less significant.
Like the mirror,
It is a bit of a vanity parade.
But unlike the mirror,
The decision to click the selfie,
Is mine, and mine alone.
God mistook our complaint for prayer,
And gave us the world.
Having given the world,
He didn't mistake our complaint for gratitude,
And has been slowly
Taking back our world.
