Some folks are counting up,

Some folks are counting down.

Some are counting up 

All the stars in the sky,

And the Likes for their latest post.

Some are counting down

The days to the next Diwali,

Counting down

To the last person standing

Among their friends,

The one that would endure

The longest regime of pain.
