Rewarding traffic rule followers versus punishing honest traffic-fine payers

 

I got this leaflet as a Social Media forward:

Well, Bengaluru police is way forward. It is waiving 50% of traffic fines to folks charged with traffic violations but who have not paid their traffic fines as yet. The scheme is open till 12th of September 2025.

50% waiver

This means that while the Swedish police is rewarding folks who follow traffic rules, Bengaluru police is punishing folks who are 'honest' traffic fine payers.
