Worn out pages:
This is what my English Teacher, Mr Shiben Kachru, a Kashmiri Pundit, wrote in my diary:
1. If you devote yourself to literature and Art you will surely make a mark.
2. If anything impedes ones progress it is self consciousness. Yo are self conscious. Shun it (shed it).
You are a good sensitive kid. You will suffer.
My English teacher wrote about my future sufferings. Little did I know, how much he and his family must have suffered.

May the departed soul of your dear departed english teacher, Shiben Kachru, have achieved Sadgati. Om Shanti.
Don't know how much you suffered in life as a Tambi-Bong since 1975, but you are a brilliant teacher, friend, counsellor, writer & person Asish.
Happy teaching & tapping away on the keyboards of your PC, Laptop & Cell phone.

Banjo,
What are you saying? Whatever gave you the idea that he is no more? May he live a long and healthy life.
I just spoke to Kachroo sir. He is hale and hearty. God bless him and his family.
It's good to know that your English teacher is doing well.
You are a sensitive kid indeed
